About the role ?

Jiasheng New Energy technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced QC Technician (CMM Calibration) to join our team in Senai, Johor. The QC Technician (CMM Calibration) is responsible for performing precise measurements and calibrations using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure that products meet quality and dimensional specifications. This role involves inspecting components, maintaining measurement equipment, and supporting the quality assurance team in compliance with company and industry standards.

What you'll be doing?
  • Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements of components and assemblies.
  • Conduct regular calibration of CMM equipment to ensure measurement accuracy and reliability.
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specified drawings and quality standards.
  • Record, analyze, and report inspection results, ensuring traceability and proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain measurement instruments and ensure proper handling, storage, and calibration records.
  • Assist in developing inspection procedures and work instructions for new products or processes.
  • Comply with safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in CMM operation and calibration.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement software, and quality documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
