**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor safety and health policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety and health training programs to ensure employees are aware of workplace hazards and preventive measures.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Liaise with government authorities, clients, and stakeholders on safety and health matters.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of safety activities, including permits, certifications, and reports.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

**Job Requirements**:

- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
- Must be a registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health).
- At least 3 years of working experience as a Safety and Health Officer, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and other related regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external parties.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle emergencies and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Applicants should be willing to be based at Melaka.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
