Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using PHP and relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Customize and extend WordPress functionality to meet project requirements.
- Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems and databases.
- Optimize and enhance existing code for improved performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and designers, to deliver high-quality projects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
- Debug and troubleshoot reported issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in backend development.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of professional experience as a PHP Backend Developer.
- Proficiency in PHP with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Experience in WordPress backend development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
- Familiarity with web servers such as Apache and Nginx, and deployment processes.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of security best practices in web development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter
- Knowledge of RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Certification in PHP or WordPress development is a plus.
