About the role

We are seeking a talented Backend PHP Developer (Laravel) to join our dynamic team at OCEAN HUB MANAGEMENT SDN. BHD. in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As a full-time member of our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using the Laravel framework.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, develop, and implement complex backend systems and APIs using Laravel
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  3. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  4. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide support for production systems
  6. Continuously improve and optimise existing systems and processes
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in web development

What we're looking for

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 or 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  3. Required skill(s): PHP, Laravel, MYSQL, JSON, HTML 5, CSS, Java Script,
  4. Optional skills: NextJS
  5. Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
  6. Some team leading capabilities is good.
  7. Have knowledge in Git
  8. Familiar with frameworks: Laravel, MVC
  9. Possess strong skills in application design, implementation, testing and troubleshooting
  10. Possess Strong skills in programming and system analysis is an added advantage
  11. Able to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
