English Tutor

We are seeking a passionate English Language Tutor to support the delivery of our diploma programme under a new international venture in China. This role involves a short-term assignment in China for approximately 2.5 months per semester (30% of each term), commencing with the first posting in late August 2025.

**Requirements**:

- Pedagogical Skills: Demonstrated ability in effective teaching and curriculum development.
- Previous teaching experience or industry experience is an advantage.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using various forms of educational technology, such as learning management systems.
- Data Analysis: Capable of conducting statistical or qualitative research analysis, depending on the field.
- Digital Literacy: Ability to integrate digital tools into the teaching and research process effectively.
- Ability to inspire students with your passion
- Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work long hours.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong cross-cultural adaptability and openness to international assignments.
- Prior teaching experience in international contexts is an added advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver English language instruction to diploma-level students, both locally and during China-based assignments.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide academic support, mentorship, and feedback to students across different learning environments.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure smooth programme delivery.
- Participate in student progress reviews, curriculum development discussions, and internal reporting.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
