We are currently searching for a **Proofreader** in the **Quality Control (QC)** department.

Based in Petaling Jaya, your role will be to ensure the highest quality of language used in written documents issued by the company in terms of their technical, grammatical, and proper contextual accuracy. You will work across the whole company covering all departments, and collaborating with colleagues at all levels. This is a full-time job with permanent status.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing complete and reviewed client reports
- Controlling the quality of internal reports and ensuring that external reports are clear and consistent, complete and credible
- Ensuring that the material and text is well written and grammatically correct
- Reviewing to ensure that images and photos are correctly captioned and referred to in the right context
- Correcting spelling, checking grammar and layout and ensuring content uses an appealing, imposing language style, rewriting (copy editing) when needed
- Assessing external and internal reporting capabilities and the progress of employees
- Coordinating with management to upgrade reporting capabilities
- Checking that media searches are comprehensive
- Translating documents from Malay to English, and vice versa
- Providing and reviewing modules and procedures related to English report-writing skills and English conversation
- Conduct training and coaching of internal employees

**Job Requirements**:

- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in Malay and English, both written and spoken
- TOELF iBT Score range between 80 - 120
High level of attention to detail
- Excellent team worker
- Deadline-oriented
- Willing and able to extend working hours if needed.
