Video Editor

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented **Video Editor** to join our creative team. The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality videos that align with our brand and campaign objectives. This role requires both technical expertise and a creative eye to tell stories that captivate audiences across digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**

Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling video content for marketing campaigns, social media, advertisements, corporate videos, events, and product launches.

Add music, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.

Collaborate with the creative, design, and marketing teams to understand project objectives and deliver content that aligns with brand guidelines.

Ensure logical sequencing, smooth transitions, and consistency in color grading, sound levels, and visual aesthetics.

Review scripts, storyboards, and production plans to prepare for editing.

Stay updated with the latest editing trends, styles, and software tools to continuously improve video output.

Organize and manage media assets, ensuring files are properly archived for future use.

Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

**Requirements & Qualifications**

Proven work experience as a **Video Editor** (portfolio required).

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.

Strong understanding of post-production processes including color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.

Ability to work with different video formats, codecs, and resolutions.

Creative mindset with attention to detail, storytelling, and pacing.

Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).

**Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)**

Experience with 2D/3D animation and motion graphics.

Knowledge of livestream video setup and editing.

Basic photography and graphic design skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and optimization of content per channel.
