**The Role**:
As the Finance Manager at The Makeover Guys, you will be overseeing the day-to-day financial operations. Your work will directly impact the finance function effectiveness of the group.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Drive the month end closing activities for the group of companies
- Review and analyze financial performance, cost and margin analysis, and report any abnormalities to the leadership team for immediate corrective action
- Ensure financial and accounting management is carried out in compliance with current regulations and standards
- Strengthen the internal controls within Finance including finance processes, policies, and procedures
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, AR collection issues
- Handle corporate tax and indirect tax matters (Sales and Service Tax, Withholding tax and Transfer Pricing)
- Monitor departmental spending against budget on a timely manner
- Responsible to provide weekly sales update to Sales team
- Responsible for the calculation of quarterly Sales Commission and Incentives
- Work with external parties on government programs, grants, and support schemes (if any)
- Handle statutory/special audit and tax audit (if any) coordination with auditor/tax agents and preparing the necessary schedules
- To carry out other ad hoc tasks as required

**; Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Professional accounting qualification is an added advantage
- At least 5 - 6 years of related working experience
- Experience from a Big 4 accounting firm or a blend of corporate and high growth start-up is an added advantage
- Proven track record in setting up operational structures
- In-depth knowledge in accounting and internal control
- Ability to work independently with large volume of data and drive insights
