The Trackwork Inspector will be responsible for verifying track installation, maintenance, and repairs are performed in compliance with contract documents. The Track works Inspector may work as a member of a team or alone but is expected to be able make independent decisions requiring technical discretion and judgment in accordance with all regulatory agencies having jurisdiction. The Primary responsibilities are as follows. - Coordinate and work with other inspectors for field reviews, surveys, etc. - Review construction documents and field conditions. - Perform forecast of force account needs related to track work. - Spearhead track-related task and associated coordination. - Perform inspection of track work. - Review submittals and correspondences. - Plans and coordinates all field inspection activities and reviews the work of Representatives to ensure compliance with job specifications **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - With a minimum Advanced Diploma or Degree or its equivalent - Experience with rail and transit projects preferrably with **Slab Track Installation**: - Must be able to interpret plans and specifications, be totally familiar with construction-related processes related to area of assignment, - Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions and prepare written messages and reports. - Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions. - Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ challenges. - High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way - Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence **Jacobs.
