Moulding Specialist

**Job Requirement**

The Moulding Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of injection moulding machines, maintaining product quality, and optimizing moulding processes. This role requires handson technical expertise in mould setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement to achieve consistent production output and meet quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate injection moulding machines according to production plans.
- Install, adjust, and maintain moulds to ensure proper function and product quality.
- Monitor and control moulding parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) for optimal output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve moulding issues, including defects such as warping, flash, sink marks, or short shots.
- Collaborate with the tooling, engineering, and production teams to implement process improvements and reduce cycle time.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on moulds and related equipment to minimize downtime.
- Train operators and junior staff on moulding techniques, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production parameters, mould maintenance, and quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO/IATF or companyspecific).

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding or moulding operations.
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, and processing parameters.
- Proficient in troubleshooting moulding defects and implementing corrective actions.
- Understanding of quality standards and measurement tools (micrometer, caliper, CMM).
- Ability to read technical drawings and mould specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,999.00 per month
