**Position Summary**

The Junior Digital Editor supports the content, editorial, and marketing team by assisting in the creation, editing, and publishing of digital and print content. This role also includes supporting the design and layout of school books, worksheets, and learning materials. It is an entry-level role suited for individuals eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the Company’s online and educational presence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Content Support**:

- Assist in writing, editing, and proofreading digital content (articles, posts, captions, newsletters).
- Ensure all content follows the Company’s brand tone, style, and guidelines.
- Adapt and repurpose content for different platforms (web, social media, print).
- **Digital Publishing**:

- Upload and format content on websites, social media, and digital platforms.
- Maintain and update content calendars under supervision.
- Support in scheduling posts and campaigns.
- **School Book & Learning Material Design**:

- Assist in designing, editing, and formatting school books, student worksheets, and other educational resources.
- Collaborate with teachers and curriculum developers to ensure accuracy and child-friendly design.
- Prepare print-ready files and liaise with printers/vendors when required.
- **Research & SEO Assistance**:

- Conduct basic research to support content development.
- Monitor trends and suggest new content or design ideas.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with senior editors, designers, curriculum developers, and marketing teams.
- Provide editorial and design support for school campaigns, events, and publications.
- Assist with coordination of external vendors, writers, or freelancers if needed.
- **Learning & Development**:

- Participate in training and workshops as assigned.
- Stay updated with digital media, publishing, and design trends.
- Continuously improve editing, layout, and design skills.

**Skills & Requirements**
- Good command of English (and Bahasa Malaysia, if required).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent).
- Interest in educational publishing and children’s content.
- Basic understanding of social media and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, scheduling tools).
- Willingness to learn SEO, digital marketing, and analytics.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions carefully.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
