**Job Purpose**

The Drilling Supervisor is primarily responsible for managing daily activities at the rig site leading a safe and effective implementation of well program and operational response to any unexpected conditions encountered during drilling and completion.

Accountable for well control, delivering the work onboard the drilling rig and the safe performance of that work. He/she leads the team and is accountable for on-rig service company interfaces. He/she is the focal point for all activities and operations and is the primary contact point from the rig to town, via the Drilling Superintendent regardless of the type of operations in progress.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure safety and environmental performance are given the highest priority during well operations including adherence with all company, MTJA and rig contractor HSE Policies
- Supervise on site drilling, completion, and work over related activities, based on agreed well programs provided by the D&C department and according to the company standards and regularly communicate progress to Drilling Superintendent
- Management of the well site team (well services, drilling and service partners) to execute the well program in an optimum manner, with special attention to well control.
- Optimize drilling and completion performance based on real time information and parameters.
- Communicate rig specific forecasts to the Drilling Superintendent and collectively work to optimize field wide operations.
- Coordinate with rig contractor and service companies to provide operational forecasts to allow continuous operations and contingency plans and ensure efficient scheduling of required maintenance, providing performance feedback to the Drilling Superintendent

**Requirement**
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as Drilling Supervisor on Jack-Up drilling rig, and total 15 years in relevant drilling industry experience (preference for offshore experience).
- Have experience with drilling and completion of extended reach (ERD) wells and HPHT wells, with Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD exposure preferred.
- International experience in drilling and completion activities.
- Preferable qualification in B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per day
