Infrastructure Manager

**Senior Manager, Infrastructure (JG6)**
- Airport Planning - Manage and coordinate in the airport & planning activities for AAG.
- Project Management - Lead, manage and coordinate airport and infrastructure projects
- Contract & Cost Management - Manage and coordinate contract preparations, administration and final account preparations while managing optimization of resources.
- Project Risk Management - Lead and manage a comprehensive project risk management plan to minimize damage and wastage related to project management
- Stakeholders Management - Lead, manage and coordinate the internal and external stakeholder engagement to fulfill the Group's objectives
- Accomplish the required outcome to meet the Company's goals and operations.
- Provide advisory and consultancy support to the Group.
- Assess and evaluate team members based on their performance, expectations and goals.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Group Head, DGCEO, GCEO and any other senior management.

**Airport/Infrastructure Planning**
- Review and manage the design brief.
- Review and manage the established requirements of the new terminal/terminal expansion or of a new land to construct new airport and its infrastructure.
- Lead meetings with various authorities/parties/consultants to seek inputs on the overall airport master planning and upcoming/scheduled expansion plans.
- Lead and coordinate internal meetings/ workshop with various AA departments (i.e. Engineering, NMC, Flight Ops, Ground Ops, etc) to get the requirements/need statements for the new airport.
- Lead the selection of consultants for the purpose of airport/ infrastructure planning.
- Lead, manage and coordinate meetings with appointed consultants for the development of the new airport of upcoming/scheduled expansion plans.
- Lead the preparation of spatial planning based on guidelines/standards (eg IATA’s Airport Development Reference) and local authority guidelines.
- Review, lead and manage the preparation of conceptual plans, 3D visuals, presentations for preliminary discussions with all project stakeholders, relevant authorities and Government bodies.

**Project Management**
- Review the collected information and requirement from relevant parties/end users to establish design brief
- Review & finalise the design brief
- Review and manage the presentation to the Project Tender Committee (PTC) meeting for selection of consultants, contractors and to obtain any necessary approvals from PTC members.
- Carry out site visit, inspection upon receipt direction from management and/or senior management of a new project.
- Lead and manage design workshops, coordination meetings with end users, departments and consultants to establish design of the building, to meet with the budget allocated and requirement.
- Oversee, lead and manage the follow up with consultants for the authority submissions to local authorities.
- Oversee the tender exercise.
- Lead, evaluate and presentation of the tender reports to PTC and Senior Management.
- Execute the appointment of contractors and/or consultants.
- Manage contractors, consultants, local authorities during construction stage.
- Manage progress at site to ensure delivery of the project in accordance to the agreed timeline.
- Manage any issue at the site and revert to management and consultants for further advice.
- Manage the certification processes for successful handover of projects
- Manage and oversee the issuance of the contract to the contractor and final account;
- Manage the defects rectification during Defect Liability Period (DLP) for successful closure of projects
- Update and present to management and senior management of the status of projets from time to time
- Review the SOP for Department
- Cost & Contract Management
- Manage the team in producing a preliminary cost estimates based on the design brief, conceptual plans and 3D visuals approved by senior management for airport planning and project management.
- Oversee and present the estimated development cost based on the preliminary cost estimate prepared by the consultants for Board approval / Business case approval.
- Review the preliminary cost estimates prepared by the consultants for the airport planning and project management
- Oversee the tender procurement exercise with consultants
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of Letter of Appointment (LOA), agreements, contracts, bonds to the successful contractors, consultants or any other relevant parties.
- Oversee the payments to be made to contractors and/or consultants within time specified in the contract as per work done.
- Manage team members to update, track and monitor project budget based on the budget approved by the Board and yearly budget by the Finance.
- Manage team members in providing the Capital Commitment Report (for CAPEX items) to AirAsia Finance at every quarterly
- Review the additional cost / expenditure requiring Senior Management Approval.
