RI/CO Claims Analyst

**Primary Details**
Time Type: Full time

Worker Type: Employee

Providing delivery of RI/CO claims services, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases. Ensuring customer satisfaction and equitable solution to RI/CO claims in accordance with company guidelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of RI/CO claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
- Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve RI/CO
- Approve RI/CO claims within appropriate authority levels
- Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public
- Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
- Provide information and feedback on RI/CO claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out
- Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up and approving significant claims within written authority levels
- Ensure legitimate RI/CO claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise and leadership
- Supervise the investigation and settlement of all RI/CO claims within the team
- Supervise RI/CO Claims staff

**Requirements**:

- Customer service
- Organizational and communication skills
- Analytical and negotiation skills
- Basic English Communication Skills

**Preferred Education Specifics**
- Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications

**Preferred Experience**
- At least 7 years experience in insurance

**Preferred Knowledge**
- Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
