Claims Recovery Analyst, Asia

**Primary Details**

This role is responsible for end to end claims management of claims. This includes making decisions on claim outcome, declining claims, customer interaction (inbound and outbound), supplier coordination, raising payments to suppliers and claim finalization. This role is also responsible for keeping portfolios compliant to SLAs measured.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of recovery claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
- Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve recovery Claims systems and procedures
- Approve recovery claims within appropriate authority levels
- Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public
- Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
- Provide information and feedback on recovery claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out
- Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up and approving significant recovery claims within written authority levels
- Ensure legitimate recovery claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise and leadership
- Supervise the investigation and settlement of all recovery claims within the team
- Supervise recovery Claims staff

**Requirement**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Customer service skills and proficiency in MS tools.
- Analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Preferably with Case Management Skills and Basic Knowledge of Insurance.
