For the junior pharmacist role, your main responsibilities include clinical guidance and advise to customers, as well as being second in charge for the pharmacy in managing and training the team. You will report to the senior Pharmacist manager, and assist in the overall operations of the pharmacy.

This role is based in Johor Bahru town, and is a role that allows for promotion to a pharmacist manager position at a later stage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with customers to understand their medical / nutrition / diet needs and advise on suitable health supplements. Also be aware of any contraindications between medications and supplements.
- Provide basic health screenings
- Counsel and advise customers on their medication regimen and to improve health conditions.
- Assist in day-to-day Operations including coverage for other pharmacists if needed
- Respond to customer complaints and comments.
- Communicate new product promotion and ensure promotion are communicated accurately to customers.
- Manage Poison and compliance to License A, KKM.
- Jointly manage a team of 4-5 staff, and motivate the team to ensure efficiency and KPIs are met.
- Manage stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
- Ensure product availability while keeping cost at its optimal performance and work within storage capacity constraints
- Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements
- Deal with staffing issues and performance reviews.
- Provide training to junior staff (On the Job Training to the staff).

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Requirements**:

- Fully Registered Pharmacist under Malaysia Pharmaceutical Board
- Possesses at least a Degree in Pharmacy discipline, and eligible to obtain license A
- Ability to solve practical problems and take initiative to address issues
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Outspoken, strong customer service skills and sales-oriented mindset
- Interest in retail environment is preferred
- Strong verbal and written skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and, Mandarin
- Strong interpersonal skills and great EQ
- Role is full time-based in Johor Bahru city area.
