**POSITION**SUMMARY**:
Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist roles come with the responsibilities of planning, preparing, and delivering therapy session and to provide occupational therapy interventions for children with a range of handwriting, fine motor, coordination, and concentration difficulties in schools. Develop and administer the highest quality of service by identifying and implementing operational procedures in line with best practice standards.

**PRINCIPAL

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design, coordinate and deliver an effective and efficient Occupational Therapy Service, based on assessment of needs
- Develop and administer the highest quality of service by identifying and implementing operational procedures in line with best practice standards.
- Ability to develop and review progress report IEP (Individual Education Plan) and EIP(Early Intervention Program)
- Prepared Writing reports ( Emotional Behaviour Report, Monthly Progress Report, Term Progress Report & etc)
- Implement Inclusion setting through special education teaching strategies and techniques to enable students meets their goals.
- Planning, preparing, and researching lessons (daily and weekly therapy plan ,long and short term treatment goals plan)
- Work as a team with other staff members in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
- To abide by the Company policies and procedures provided by the Human Resource department which will be reviewed from time to time.
- Perform any other duties as entrusted to you by the Assistant Head of Gifted Kids Department / Head of Gifted Kids Departments.

**Specialized**Skills,**Knowledge,**and**Expectations**:

- Good knowledge in Special Needs (Learning difficulties)
- Good knowledge in ABA or Son Rise Programme for autism
- Familiar with inclusion programme

**Requirements**:
**Education**:Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy

**Experience**:1 - 3 years’ experience working with children a learning disabilities

**Disposition**: Must have a compassionate and positive attitude ability to work constructively as part of a team and must be knowledgeable of different therapeutic methods and be able to switch between different approaches to meet each child’s needs and making sure that innovative and appropriate approaches to learning are made.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,266.42 - RM3,690.15 per month
