**Job Overview**:
We're seeking a motivated, analytical, and customer-focused Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role involves acting as a critical liaison between our commercial and data teams to deliver meaningful insights that our customers can easily understand and apply. We're looking for an individual who can not only delve into data but also has the skills to communicate complex concepts in a comprehensible manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the commercial team to understand business needs, defining and implementing analytical strategies accordingly.
- Use Looker and other data analytics tools to extract, clean, and analyse data, translating it into actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other visualisations to help communicate data-driven insights in a clear, concise manner.
- Partner with the data team to ensure data quality and consistency, resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
- Present insights and recommendations to both internal stakeholders and clients, using a language and format that suits the audience's level of understanding.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis and visualisation.
- Participate in feedback sessions, demonstrating vulnerability, openness, and a willingness to learn and grow.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in a startup environment.
- Required experience with Looker; knowledge of other data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a simple, accessible manner.
- A natural problem-solver, capable of working independently and making data-driven decisions.
- A collaborative team player, comfortable with giving and receiving direct feedback in a supportive, empowering culture.
