Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Teaching**: Deliver engaging lectures and seminars on Islamic finance topics, including but not limited to Shariah-compliant financial instruments, risk management in Islamic finance, and the ethical implications of financial practices.
- **Curriculum Development**: Collaborate with faculty to design and update course syllabi, ensuring alignment with industry standards and academic rigor.
- **Research**: Conduct and publish research in relevant areas of Islamic finance, contributing to the body of knowledge and staying current with industry trends.
- **Student Engagement**: Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation and providing mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students.
- **Assessment**: Develop and administer assessments, providing timely feedback to students to enhance their learning experience.
- **Advising**: Serve as an academic advisor for students pursuing Islamic finance studies, guiding them on course selections and career opportunities.
- **Collaboration**: Work with colleagues within the department and across the institution to promote interdisciplinary learning and research initiatives.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: A Master's degree or Ph.D. in Islamic Finance, Islamic Economics, Finance, or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or Islamic finance certifications) are a plus.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of Islamic financial principles, instruments, and regulations. Familiarity with contemporary issues in the Islamic finance industry.
- **Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner. Proficiency in educational technology and online teaching platforms is preferred.
- **Research Ability**: Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and contribute to academic publications in the field.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
