Hospital Aide

The hospital aide (HA) carries out assignments under the supervision and direction of the Department Manager and Staff Nurse. She/He is responsible for assisting the doctors in the clinic.
**Responsibilities**
- Attend to patients/visitors promptly with courtesy
- Schedules patient's appointments for next Doctor's consultation, procedure and treatment.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of clinics
- Chaperons doctor during physical examination of female patients
- Retrieves/ dispatches case notes, C'Rays and laboratory results. All case notes must be available before the patient can see the doctor
- Responsible for printing request forms and make available other forms eg. admission order, consent form, etc.
- Ensure that all charges for Doctors' Consultation and procedures are done before sending back patients
- Maintains department daily census
- Run errands when necessary
- Participates in hospital QA activities
- Participates in hospital in-house training programs especially customer service
- Undertake other duties and tasks as delegated by superior
**Qualifications**
- Atleast SPM or Diploma qualifications
- Has working experience in Clinic
- Must be able to work in shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
- Able to communicate well
