**Job Scope: Service Advisor (Automotive)**
**Customer Reception & Consultation**
- Greet and welcome customers professionally.
- Understand and record customer vehicle issues, complaints, or service requests.
- Provide technical advice and explain recommended services or repairs.
**Walk-Around Vehicle Inspection**
- Conduct a visual inspection of the customer’s vehicle upon arrival (walk-around).
- Record any visible damage or existing issues and get customer acknowledgment.
- Ensure transparency and manage expectations before service begins.
**Job Scheduling & Coordination**
- Schedule service appointments based on workshop capacity.
- Coordinate with workshop foreman/technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.
**Job Order Preparation**
- Open job cards and input accurate vehicle and customer information.
- List down required parts and labor based on service needs.
- Ensure proper documentation for warranty claims, if applicable.
**Key-In Customer Invoices (Proton SAP System)**
- Accurately key in and process customer invoices using the Proton SAP system.
- Ensure all billing details are correct and aligned with job orders.
- Maintain proper records and follow SOP for invoicing.
**Customer Updates & Communication**
- Keep customers informed on job status, additional repairs, and estimated completion time.
- Obtain customer approval for any additional work or cost.
- Manage expectations regarding time, cost, and repair scope.
**Quality Control & Delivery**
- Ensure all requested services are completed before delivery.
- Conduct final vehicle check with technician (if required).
- Review the invoice with the customer and explain all charges.
**After-Service Follow-Up**
- Contact customers for feedback on services provided.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate resolutions.
- Encourage repeat business and promote service packages or campaigns.
**Administrative Duties**
- Ensure proper filing of job cards, invoices, and service records.
- Report daily service performance to the Service Manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized service reception area.
**Sales Target Achievement**
- Work towards achieving monthly sales targets for service or repair packages.
- Promote value-added services and upsell relevant items to customers.
- Monitor personal performance and report results to management.
**Product Knowledge & Continuous Improvement**
- Stay updated on vehicle models, service campaigns, and technical knowledge.
- Attend training programs as required by the company or brand.
**Other Responsibilities**
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Work closely with parts department to ensure parts availability.
- Support service campaigns and promotions.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
**Job Requirements: Service Advisor (Automotive)**
- **Education**:
Minimum SPM. Diploma in Automotive or related field is an advantage.
- **Experience**:
At least 1-2 years working experience in a service advisor or similar role.
Fresh graduates with interest in automotive are welcome to apply.
- **Technical Skills**:
Basic knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs.
Able to use Proton SAP system or similar software (training will be provided).
- **Customer Service**:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, patient, and professional when dealing with customers.
Able to handle complaints and explain technical matters clearly.
- **Computer Skills**:
- **Languages**:
Able to speak and write in **Bahasa Melayu and English**.
Other languages (e.g., Mandarin or Tamil) are a bonus.
- **Others**:
- Have a valid driving license (Class D).
- Willing to work weekends or public holidays if needed.
- Able to meet sales or service targets.
- Good attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
