Procurement Manager

We’re looking for a passionate, strategic, and hands-on Procurement Manager to join our team and oversee the purchasing and supply chain operations that power our brand.

**Position Overview**:
Procurement Manager will be responsible for driving the overall procurement and sourcing strategy across our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring we have the right materials, equipment, and partnerships in place to support our growth, maintain product excellence, and deliver a seamless customer experience. As a key member you will work closely with many departments to build a resilient, cost-effective, and values-driven supply chain that aligns with our business objectives and sustainability commitments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Strategy Development**:
Lead the creation and execution of a forward-thinking procurement strategy that aligns with our brand values, operational needs, and growth ambitions. Ensure sourcing efforts support both near-term objectives and long-term scalability.
- **Cost Optimization & Efficiency**:
Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality. Analyze purchasing patterns, optimize inventory levels, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency across the supply chain.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
Partner closely with operations, finance, product, and retail teams to understand business needs, align procurement plans, and support seamless execution across all touchpoints.
- **Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing**:
Responsible in sourcing practices by prioritizing environmentally sustainable materials and ensuring ethical standards are upheld throughout the supply chain.
- **Risk Management & Compliance**:
Mitigate supply chain risks by staying ahead of market trends, diversifying supplier bases, and ensuring all procurement activities comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
- **Data-Driven Decision Making**:
Leverage data and procurement metrics to evaluate supplier performance, forecast demand, and drive strategic purchasing decisions that support operational and financial goals.
- **Technology & Process Improvement**:
Identify and implement procurement tools, systems, and automation solutions that streamline workflows, increase transparency, and support scalability.
- **Inventory & Forecasting Alignment**:
Work with internal teams to ensure accurate demand planning and inventory control, minimizing stockouts and reducing excess.
- **Vendor and Resource Management**:
Maintain proactive, productive relationships with key suppliers. Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and build long-term value.
- Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related fields
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in a related field
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- A valuable team player and able to work independently
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and procurement best practices

- Computer literate with a good command of both written and spoken English and Malay
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Possess own transport and willing to travel

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
