**Primary Objective**:
To manage the Bank’s non-retail portfolio credit risk via
- Sectoral surveillance via internally developed methodology and approach,
- Performing relevant sectoral/portfolio analysis
- Upon triggering of sectoral surveillance thresholds,
- Scheduled update to committees,
- Triggering of relevant portfolio strategy and action in response to identify emerging risks,
- Setting of Group and Malaysia risk posture, as guidance for mid to long term business planning and strategy,
- Establishing appropriate Risk Appetite for Group and Malaysia
- Sectoral concentration (RHB Sectoral Limits),
- Credit Risk metric,
- Product/Guideline/Manual proposal review,
- Credit Risk Transformation initiatives,
- Banking Industry Asset Quality benchmarking,
- Disclosure to Rating Analyst (RAM, MARC, S&P, Moody’s), and
- Annual Business Planning.- **develop/enhance corporate credit risk methodologies and CONTROLS to continuously enhance CREDIT RISK Practices**
- **Credit Risk Appetite and Metrics**
- Review on the relevancy of existing list of Risk Metrics for the setting of risk metrics for the following year and introduce new risk metric if appropriate
- Establish the relevant methodology to establish the credit risk metrics and MAT
- Facilitate communication / meeting / challenge session with relevant stakeholders
- Preparation of proposal in relevant to the risk metric reporting
- **Sectoral risk surveillance**
- Establish relevant portfolio risk indicators to undertake pre-emptive measures with established structured Portfolio Action Plans
- Conducting extensive research for continuous enhancement on risk drivers
- **Sectoral Concentration**- Develop / enhance industry concentration limit methodologies
- Facilitate communication / meeting / challenge session with relevant stakeholders for their opinion / feedback / business strategy for all sectors
- **Benchmarking**- Develop appropriate methodologies/surveillance tools for benchmarking of selected credit risk metrics against peer banks.

**2**. **review OF selected portfolios/SECTORS/emerging events:

- **
- Perform non-retail business portfolio/segment review and where necessary recommend risk mitigation.

**3**. **CREDIT RISK DIVISIONAL COORDINATION**- **Project Management**
- Assist Head of Department on Credit Risk related project management activities and reporting,- **Analyst Disclosure**
- Prepare, disclosures to analyst i.e. for RAM, MARC, S&P and Moody’s.- **Other Tasks**
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time basis.

**4. REPORTING AND MONITORING**

Review monthly/quarterly update of
- Sectoral risk surveillance
- Benchmarking of selected risk metrics
- Credit risk metric
- Portfolio forward looking view
- **5. REVIEW**:

- Timely review of new product proposals / manuals / policies / guidelines relating to RHB Asset Management.
- Requirements

**Requirements**:
Bachelor Degree - Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Banking..

At least 10 years’ experience in areas related to non-retail credit (credit origination/ credit evaluation/ credit recovery / enhanced account management / credit concentration management) of a financial institution.
- Familiarity with non-retail credit products, policies and operations practices.
- Sound understanding of lending principles and credit management.
- Strong credit analysis and risk assessment skills on corporate portfolios.
- Sound knowledge on corporate sectors and industry outlook.
- Familiarity with global and local affairs and market conditions, risk and opportunities of key industry sectors and local banking practices.
- Good command of the English language.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with an inquisitive mind to investigate and probe.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent in handling and managing projects and tasks.

Team player, good interpersonal skills and able to work with people at all levels.
