**Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, slicing, and measuring. Ensure food is prepared according to the standards set by the chef de partie or head chef.
- **Cooking Assistance**: Help cook and assemble dishes under the supervision of a more senior chef. Ensure dishes are prepared and plated to the highest standards of presentation.
- **Station Maintenance**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in your assigned kitchen station. Clean utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment after use.
- **Stock Management**: Assist in the receipt and storage of deliveries. Ensure food items are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
- **Hygiene & Safety**: Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and health regulations at all times. Follow food safety procedures regarding storage, handling, and preparation.
- **Team Support**: Work with other members of the kitchen team, providing assistance wherever necessary, including running food, cleaning, or restocking ingredients.
- **Learning & Development**: Actively seek to learn new cooking techniques and kitchen skills. Take part in training programs and development opportunities as required.

**Job Requirements**:

- **Relevant Experience**: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment would be an advantage.
- **Culinary Skills**: Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
- **Communication Skills**: Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- **Work Ethic**: Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
