Ready to leverage your supply chain expertise and language skills in a dynamic commercial operations role?

The Supply Planner (Japanese Speaker) is responsible for the procurement of finished goods, inventory management, problem resolution, and data support. In this role, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to manage the demand and supply of finished goods.

This is a 1-year contract position, and the role is part of the Commercial Operations Organization and will be located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Negotiate, procure and schedule the best possible orders for all finished goods on a timely and planned basis.
- Collaborate and communicate across functional teams such as customer service, sales, planner, finance, supplier and manufacturing plant.
- Support monthly revenue roll up and estimates.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- University degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, procurement, business, or similar area of study.
- Experience in supply planning, procurement, or inventory management to manage procurement processes, monitor inventory levels, and resolve supply issues effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- SAP or other ERP experience and familiarity.
- Computer literacy and foundational Microsoft Office skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
