We're looking for an experienced and dynamic **Finance Manager**for a **Chinese factory in airconditiong industry** to take full ownership of all financial operations and tax-related matters for our manufacturing plant in Malaysia. You'll ensure accurate financial reporting, strict cost control, and full compliance with local tax laws. This role demands strong analytical skills, in-depth cost accounting expertise, and a proven ability to optimize financial performance within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
- **Lead the end-to-end setup of financial accounting systems and information infrastructure.**:

- **Cost Control & Analysis**:

- Monitor and analyze direct/indirect manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead).
- Conduct variance analysis (e.g., material usage, labor efficiency) and root cause investigations.
- Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement, collaborating closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to achieve cost targets.
- **Tax Management**: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of direct and indirect tax filings (e.g., corporate income tax, Sales and Service Tax, withholding tax, customs duties), with particular attention to accounting and tax treatment of cross-border transactions.
- **Daily Accounting Functions**: Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash management.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**: Prepare annual production budgets and rolling forecasts.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all financial operations comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal policies.

**Requirements**:

- MUST HAVE: 1. manufacturing background 2. English and Malay speaker
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CMA/CPA certification is a plus.
- **5+ years of financial management experience**, with at least **3 years in a manufacturing environment**.
- Solid knowledge of **Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations**.
- Understanding of **manufacturing tax incentives** (e.g., incentives offered by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority - MIDA).
- Excellent **cross-functional communication and influencing skills**.
- High level of **integrity, teamwork, honesty, stability, and reliability**.
- Hands-on experience with **ERP systems** and proficient in MS Office.

Pay: RM10,000.00 per month
