Job role for this position will mainly entail leading and delivery of project goals in line with the Company's objectives for timely expansion into new business segments via M&A and roll-out of strategic business initiatives. The job role is responsible for seeing through M&A which are at implementation stage which includes completion of due diligence process and other conditional precedence tied to deal completion, coordinating integration exercise post deal closing as well as evaluation / development of strategic and prioritized business plans for new business growth (non-rice segment).

**Responsibilities**

**1.Completion of due-diligence process**
- Propose scope of due-diligence exercise to be undertaken based on preliminary findings of target acquisition and risk areas identified
- Coordinate planning for due-diligence exercise either via appointment of external parties and/or engagement of internal stakeholders
- Compile and verify due-diligence check list and preparation of report for Management/Board on encumbrances encountered

**2.Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely deal completion**
- Preparation of proposed workflow and timeline for M&A activities
- Preparation of check-list for various conditional precedence to be fulfilled to ensure timely deal closing
- Coordinate across various stakeholders to ensure critical milestones are being met such as but not limited to drafting of the sales & purchase agreement, obtainment of relevant board resolutions, payment of purchase consideration, board/management approval papers and regulatory approvals.

**3.Post deal completion: Integration exercise**
- Plan and coordinate integration efforts post acquisition to ensure propose value gained from target company is met
- Coordinate across various internal departments/critical functions to ensure integration objectives are met within stipulated timelines such as but not limited to company restructuring, systems integration.

**4.Evaluation and development of strategic and prioritized business plans tied to new business growth**
- To evaluate and/or assist business stakeholders in developing business plans for new business growth areas to meet and align to Company's objectives
- To assess financial viability, cost to benefit and investment return profile for capex spending or deal proposals in realizing value creation initiatives
- To monitor progress of new acquisitions and/or new strategic business initiatives for Board/Management update.

**Job Requirements**

**1.Qualification**
- Degree in Business Administration / Corporate Finance / any other equivalent qualification

**2.Working Experience**
- Minimum 6-8 years of working experience

**3.Specific Knowledge**
- Merger & Acquisitions process flow and familiar with relevant documentation required
- Financial modelling and valuations
- Project management
- Business & reporting

**4.Skills**
- Analytical Skills

- Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,200.00 per month
