Main Responsibilities:

- Perform tasks in compliance with Heineken and local safety regulations.
- Participate in safety improvement activities, in order to improve laboratory safety.
- Perform tasks in compliance with Heineken and local procedures (ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, LSS, HOC)
- Create value-added activities to existing quality systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, LSS, HOC) via auditing programme
- Safety operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipments as per standards
- Evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of laboratory equipments, and specialize into laboratory equipment troubleshooting.
- Initiate and lead improvement activities to optimize laboratory environment and equipment performance.
- Perform analysis in compliance with laboratory standards.
- Lead improvement activities to enhance laboratory analysis performance.
- Specialize in laboratory analytical test.
- Support production team in quality parameters, especially when there is deviation occur.
- Support trade complaint analysis and evalution.
- Initiates improvement actions, lead improvement team with production peers, against deviated quality parameters (e.g. FTR beer production, FTR finished products, FTR microbe), for zero losses achievement.
- Report reliable quality data in timely way.
- Analyse quality data and generate improvement actions.

Education backgrounds and experiences:

- Bachelor DEGREE HOLDER in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemistry / Microbiology
- Good understanding in ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 17025, preferable at internal auditor level.
- Skillful in laboratory analytical method, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
- Good knowledge in microbiology and hygiene standards.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Clear report writing skill
- Resourceful and results oriented with good follow-through work habits
- Able to work independently as well as a team
