**Responsibilities**:

- Repair, maintain, and install machines, tools, and equipment for continuous production.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent unscheduled downtime.
- Inspect facilities and equipment regularly for issues and perform necessary maintenance.
- Address routine building maintenance such as structural repairs.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain documentation and records for operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Create weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
- Record daily machine maintenance and cleanliness activities.
- Supervise and train operators in basic machine maintenance.
- Perform CIL and other activities to prolong equipment life span.
- Assist in tracking and updating plant key metrics.
- Manage inventory and order operation-related tools.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and regulatory officers for inspections and compliance.
- Oversee contractors for maintenance and monitor fire extinguisher validity.
- Ensure all maintenance activities consider safety, food safety, and energy/ water consumption.
- Manage the maintenance budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Control machine breakdown costs and collaborate in problem-solving within a team.
- Complete routine tasks and handle other assigned duties as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP, Safety and Health will have an added advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- A valuable team player and able to work independently.
- Vast knowledge in electronic/ electrical, general maintenance service, troubleshooting machinery problems, general plumbing (piping), and good experience in fixing/ handling air conditioners, refrigerators or chiller systems would be added advantages.
- Computer literate with a good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
