**About The Role**

Inventory control managers are responsible for every aspect of inventory management. This includes everything from inventory tracking to conducting an inventory audit to inventory maintenance and more.

Inventory control managers are responsible for ensuring inventory counts are done correctly, whether it's physical inventory counting, inventory cycle count, or data from perpetual inventory management software. He/she is also responsible for the accurate inventory of all incoming and outgoing products, plan on space optimization and utilization plan to maximize efficiencies and incorporate best supply chain practices to minimize inventory discrepancies.

**Essential Duties**

1. Overall Inventory Control Management
- Oversee team objectives and share managerial responsibility for planning, optimizing, steering, and controlling processes and duties.
- Be the escalation point for all the inventory control issues from all assigned sites.

2. Plan & Oversee Stock Count/Cycle Count Activities
- Plan, implement and manage procedures to optimize inventory control.
- Plan and execute schedule inventory count and cycle count on monthly basis.
- Ensuring the inventory count /cycle counts are conducted in a proper manner, ie proper cut-off, blind count, wall to wall count, stickering and immediate stock reconciliation for discrepancies.

3. Operations Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analytically review the inventory control performances with facts, graph and statistics and to improve through process improvements, corrective and preventive actions.
- To formulate and implement KPIs, processes, policies and procedures that enhance to the over-all efficiency and productivity of the company.
- Review the inventory control procedures that impede the business and recommend & implement changes for strategic improvement.

4. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance to operations SOP/clients’ agreed requirement at all times.
- Maintain full compliance with SOP at all sites and ensure readiness for audits, resulting in successful outcomes.
- Address customer complaints and process issues using corrective action databases.

5. Resource & Equipment Management
- Ensuring resources are well planned and adhering to the Malaysian employment legislation.
- Submit accurate overtime calculations to HR before the monthly cut-off to facilitate payroll and billing arrangements.

**About You**
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing e-commerce platforms or relevant role
- Experience in cross-border / overseas e-commerce stores across different Southeast Asia countries is a strong advantage
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (oral & written)
- Familiar with web & e-commerce platforms and market pricing strategies for e-commerce platforms
- Strong numerical, analytics data skills and e-commerce metrics
- Good understanding in onsite merchandising inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data to deliver reporting and actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Can-do attitude & great attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
