**Job Summary**:
This position is responsible as the Head of Unit in overseeing the non-trade purchase involving day-to-day operation (non-clinical), medical equipment and biomedical devices. This role involves strategic planning, supplier management and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations to support the organization's operational needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies for tendering of non-trade requisition, medical equipment and biomedical devices to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition.
- Supplier Management: Assist on identify, evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of the service/ supply/ works.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities comply with authority/ healthcare regulations and standards. Mitigate risks associated with procurement processes.
- Cost Management: Oversee the procurement process, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost savings.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hospital/ department representative to understand and meet their needs.

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed procurement decisions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address procurement challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with procurement policies and healthcare or any other standards practise.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Carry out other duties or tasks as assigned by Superior from time to time.

**Qualification**:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Change Management, Business Administration, Biomedical Engineering, or any related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards are advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and any other procurement system/ software and tools.
- Good oral and written communication skills, in English.
- Be a detailed-oriented and self-starter and have experience in analyzing, translating and complying complex tender/ project.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
