**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Set up and prepare injection moulding machines for production runs, including installing moulds, configuring machine settings, and loading raw materials.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for injection moulding machines.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and resolve issues related to product defects, such as sink mark, flashing, or short shots.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and improve product quality.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Optimize moulding processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste.
- Document process changes and maintain accurate records of machine settings and production data.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety training and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to achieve production goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and improve processes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in injection moulding setup and operation.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting injection moulding machines; knowledge of moulding processes, materials, and tooling.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency.
- **Communication**: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and document processes.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.

**Work Environment**:

- The role typically involves working in a manufacturing or production facility.
- May require working in shifts, including nights and weekends, depending on production schedules.
