Job Description:
Position Overview:
As a Content Moderator for our video platform, you will be responsible for ensuring that the content uploaded and shared by users adheres to our platform's guidelines and community standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and positive environment for all users by reviewing and moderating various types of video content. This position requires working in rotational shifts, including night shifts, and entails rotational weekoffs.

1. Review and moderate user-generated video content to ensure compliance with platform guidelines, policies, and legal requirements.

2. Use content moderation tools and software to assess and analyze videos for potential violations.

3. Make accurate judgments and decisions based on established policies and guidelines, while considering cultural sensitivities and regional context.

4. Act promptly to remove or flag inappropriate content and escalate complex or sensitive cases to higher-level moderation or management.

5. Generate regular reports on moderation activities, including key metrics, trends, and insights to inform policy decisions and enhance user safety.

6. Maintain confidentiality and ensure the privacy and security of user data and sensitive information.

7. Work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, as per the assigned schedule.

8. Follow the rotational week-off schedule as assigned by the company.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in content moderation, preferably in a video-sharing or social media platform.
- Familiarity with online community dynamics, social media trends, and digital content consumption.
- Strong understanding of platform policies, community guidelines, and legal regulations concerning content moderation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to provide clear explanations and assistance to users.
- Knowledge of content moderation tools and software is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
