We are looking for an Intern to join the Fixed Income team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role will provide support in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) of bond and sukuk issuances and at the same time provide limited support for operational matters. The Intern will spend time helping Research Analysts with basic analysis on ESG. The Internship will last between 3 months to 6 months starting from February 2025.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?
- Assist research team on data collection, classification, and basic analysis on ESG of bond issuances.
- To conduct general research on topics given by Fixed Income Team
- To assist in operational and administrative matters of the team

What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
- Final year University students or fresh graduates looking for internship
- Solid knowledge of reading and analyzing the financial statements
- Keen interest in developing a career in financial services
- Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and a desire to be a team player
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to prove research capabilities will be an added advantage
