The **Road Construction Technician** is primarily responsible for providing technical support for road and drainage pipeline construction, on-site management, and quality control. The role ensures that projects are completed according to design specifications, with high quality and safety standards, while also assisting in related building construction.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Construction Management**
- Provide technical support for road and drainage pipeline construction sites, ensuring the correct implementation of construction plans.
- Participate in the preparation of construction organization designs and construction plans, offering rational suggestions.
- Coordinate construction progress to ensure timely project completion.

**2. Quality and Safety Control**
- Supervise construction quality to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and quality acceptance requirements.
- Inspect construction materials, processes, and equipment to ensure engineering quality.
- Strictly enforce safety management regulations to ensure construction safety and eliminate potential hazards.

**3. Technical Support**
- Responsible for construction surveying, layout, and technical briefings to ensure workers accurately understand construction requirements.
- Address technical issues that arise during construction and provide effective solutions.
- Participate in project acceptance, concealed work inspections, and the organization of completion documents.

**4. Communication and Coordination**
- Coordinate with owners, supervisors, design teams, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth construction progress.
- Assist in resolving on-site construction conflicts and optimizing construction plans.

**5. Assisting Building Construction**
- In addition to road and drainage construction tasks, provide support in related building construction work when needed.

**Job Requirements**:
**1. Educational Requirements**
- Diploma or higher in Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Road and Bridge Engineering, or related fields.

**2. Experience Requirements**
- At least **3 years** of experience in road and drainage construction and on-site management, with familiarity with municipal construction processes.

**3. Professional Skills**
- Proficient in road construction technical specifications and drainage pipeline construction techniques.
- Skilled in construction surveying, CAD drafting, and engineering quantity estimation.
- Understanding of relevant building construction processes and the ability to assist in building construction tasks.

**4. General Abilities**
- Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of effectively resolving on-site construction issues.
- Highly responsible, hardworking, and able to adapt to the construction site environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety management and the ability to implement safety requirements effectively.

**5. Certifications (preferred)**

**6. Language**
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin speaker will be given priority to easily communicate with staff or stakeholders in China

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
