**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of OSC Group in Malaysia. This role will ensure financial compliance, manage budgeting and forecasting, and produce accurate financial reports. The Financial Controller will liaise directly with the HQ in Dubai and report to the Country General Manager in Malaysia to ensure alignment with the company's financial goals and objectives.

8. Tax & Legal Matters:
9. Ad-hoc Financial Analysis - Conduct financial analysis for special projects or management and financial modelling for strategic decision-making.

10. Prepare the pre-requisites and necessary management system to facilitate the company target to achieve ISO accreditations within the shortest possible time-frame.

11. Perform other related duties as assigned

**REGULAR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Review SOA and reminder to all customer

2. Review and analyse monthly bank recond, AR & AP, FA, PL ,BS,GL, TB and prepare the monthly Financial report and send to superior

3. Send the monthly financial report to business partner in Malaysia

4. Review the SST Return and payment made to Custom.

5. Checking & verified supplier & month end payment and submit MAybank2E payment for GM approval.

6. Responsible for internal audit (4 times in a year); Fixed Asset, AR, AP & Payroll

7. Preparing audit schedule for year-end financial report and responsible for interim and year end external audit with auditor

8. Preparing tax schedule for year-end company taxation and entertain tax agent inquiry and additional information.

9. Preparing and Responsible for Yearly Company budget and gather information from respective department.

10. Preparing Company asset information for Asset Insurance

11. Responsible for bank matter and liaise with Maybank officer, Bank Guarantee and Short-Term Deposit

12. Review quarterly inventory audit done.

13. Preparing Financial data for quarterly BOD meeting

14. Responsible in handling Company ITA allowance with MIDA

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

1. Ability to use standard office equipment such as a PC (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Visio), scanner, photocopier, and fax machine.

2. Ability to perform a variety of tasks and can change assignments quickly on short notice.

3. Ability to analyses problems and use objective judgment to make quick decisions. Think strategically considering the possible effects of decisions in the longer term.

4. Strong presentation and negotiating skills to persuade higher level managers of the course of action to take.

5. Require knowledge of information technology (computer skills) and ERP/auto count systems,

6. Must be able to respond to and manage change therefore must be flexible and adaptable with the ability to revise plans where necessary.

7. Must be able to work under pressure to meet the tight deadline and various type of job.

8. Must be able to have good communication skill to deal with external related parties: Auditor, Customs.

9. Must be able to work independence to deliver the job efficiently with minimum supervision.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE

1. Graduate from university with a Diploma with at least 5-6 years of working experience. Preferably a Degree in Accounting/Finance.

2. Ability to read, write and speak fluent English and Malay.

3. 10 years’work experience. Experience in the services & Oil Service Industry would be an advantage.

4. Must have computer software qualifications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

5. Atleast the last position as Asst. Manager or Senior Executive in Account & Finance Department

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,500.00 per month
