Gemmologists value precious stones by analysing their characteristics, cut, and provenience either for trading or for further polishing efforts. They assess stones and gems to give them a market value. Developing, implementing and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the Company's products and / development processes. Developing, implementing and managing processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function and reliability prior to delivery. Identifying and setting appropriate quality standards and parameters for products. Communicating quality standards and parameters to the QA team, Product Development team and other Stakeholders. Coordinating product testing processes and participating in product testing. Monitoring and ensuring high-quality standards in production, inspecting processes and outputs. Identifying and analysing issues, bugs, defects and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues. Reviewing clients, customers and users feedback. Planning, controlling and monitoring work to ensure adherence to work schedule and quality standards. Planning and conducting annual/periodic quality audits Cultivating and promoting a culture of quality in the Company by: - Continuously presenting, explaining and giving insight on quality to staff >Continuously imparting knowledge, teaching and guiding staff in the identification, procuring and handling of products > Designing and developing comprehensive training programs for all category of staff > Providing on-going training and guidance in all aspects of work related matters Performs other duties as assigned Jewellery, gold and silversmiths for tourist industry Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5
