Agent Oversight Executive

Ria is looking for a Compliance Associate - Agent Oversight for our Compliance Department at our corporate office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reports to and works under the supervision of Compliance Supervisor, this position will play a key role in performing audit visitations and inspections to the money remittance business of Ria Money Transfer and its agents in adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and other regulatory obligations in Malaysia jurisdictions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performing audits and inspections on Ria agent's operation throughout Malaysia including Sabah & Sarawak
- Ensuring agents are complying with AML Manual and AML/CFT laws, guidelines and regulations.
- Completing and reviewing audit reports by documenting audit tests and findings. To follow-up on steps and measures that are to be taken in response to the visit, off-site analysis or other findings pertaining to agent operations.
- Contributing to team results by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to add value to the organization; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time at Management prerogative.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree holder in any field.
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills, for building relationships and negotiating with different types of clients
- Ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
