Position : Quality Assurance Automated Tester

Salary : RM 5,000 - RM 12,000

Location : Bangar Kuala Lumpur

Working Day : 5 days’ work

**Responsibilities**

**Test Planning and Strategy**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans.
- Define test strategies and scope, including test objectives, environments, cases, and required data.

**Test Automation**
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Selenium framework.
- Automate deployment of test environments as needed.

**Test Execution**
- Execute both automated and manual test scripts.
- Analyze results, report defects, and follow through on resolutions.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.

**Test Data Management**
- Create and manage test data sets for both automated and manual testing.
- Ensure test environments maintain data consistency and isolation.

**Defect Management**
- Identify, log, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Collaborate closely with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.

**Documentation**
- Document test cases, scripts, results, and processes.
- Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date testing documentation.

**Collaboration and Communication**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product managers.
- Report testing progress, results, and issues to relevant stakeholders.

**Performance Testing**
- Identify bottlenecks and provide performance improvement recommendations.

**Test Automation Best Practices**
- Stay current with industry trends and automation best practices.
- Promote and implement best practices within the QA team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an IT-related field.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in automated software testing.
- Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks, especially Selenium.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with BDD tools such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
