**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

This is a full-time, on-site role for Videographer cum Video Editor within the Social Media Production Team at Pali Pali Trading Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur. You’ll be the creative force behind our video content, shooting and editing both short-form and long-form videos that educate, inspire, and engage our growing 3D printing community. You’ll manage production logistics, oversee equipment readiness, and collaborate closely with graphic designers and the social media team to create high-quality visual storytelling.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Video Shooting & Production**
- Serve as the primary shooter for social media short videos, product showcases, educational content, and long-form videos (e.g. tutorials, interviews, event coverage).
- Assist in designing and creating storyboards and shortboards.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Learn, apply, maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files.
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and design standards.
- Work with the design team to select audio, video, colors, animation, etc., for video content.
- Plan and execute shoots, ensuring high-quality video and audio capture in studio and on-location environments.
- Capture creative visuals that highlight 3D printing technology, products, and community stories.
- Good command of camera and lighting knowledge & operation

**Production Management**
- Take charge of equipment preparation, maintenance, and organization.
- Schedule shoots, coordinate with team members and talent, and manage shoot logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and solving production challenges.

**Video Editing & Motion Graphics**
- Edit video content for various platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) with engaging pacing and storytelling.
- Incorporate motion graphics and text overlays in collaboration with graphic designers to enhance video content is a plus
- Manage color grading, sound mixing, and post-production finishing to deliver professional, polished videos.

**Product & Photography Experience (preferred)**
- Experience with product videography and photography, including lighting, composition, and retouching, is a significant plus.
- Ability to step into hybrid roles as needed, including still photography shoots and photo editing.

**Team Collaboration & Hybrid Role**
- Collaborate closely with the social media, marketing, and graphic design teams to align visual output with campaign goals and creative direction.
- Willingness to take on hybrid responsibilities, stepping in as PIC (Person In Charge) for reshoots or assisting other creative tasks as required.

**QUALIFICATION**

Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a solid portfolio of work.
Skilled in operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for professional shoots.
Proficiency in video editing software such as **Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve**, or **Capcut**,
Experience with motion graphics and animation using **Adobe After Effects**.
**Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools** (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition) is a strong plus.
Strong visual storytelling skills and creative vision.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Ability to troubleshoot technical production issues quickly and effectively.
Experience with product shooting or photography, including editing, is an advantage.
Must be able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Chinese is a bonus.
Must be eager to learn new technology and adapt to the fast-evolving 3D printing industry.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma or Degree in Film, Multimedia, Digital Media Production, Mass Communication or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in videography, video editing, or content production.
- Solid understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, and storytelling trends for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Must be able to follow SOPs and maintain organized creative assets and file structures.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Taman Bukit Maluri, Kuala Lumpur.
