**ROLE SUMMARY**

**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**

To provide security and EHS supports to Investigation and Risk Manager as part of a co-ordinated and comprehensive business integrated security service for DBS KL

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**i. Operations/ Professional/ Business**
- Assist Investigation and Risk Manager in monitoring threats and risks to the business and reviewing operational measures in light of such assessments.
- Assist and support Investigation and Risk Manager on operational in security and EHS reviews, assessments and implementations.
- Assist Investigation and Risk Manager for the harmonisation of operational security.
- Provide assistance to Investigation and Risk Manager for the timely submission of accurate loss reports, submit monthly report in the system.
- Assist Investigation and Risk Manager to collaborate with enforcement bodies (Police, Bomba, etc) to enable support in Business Security and EHS to DBS KL
- Front Desk duties which include:

- Attending to visitors/guests, manage access card process including programming, issuing, deletion, printing of staff ID, etc, monitor CCTV program, raise purchase order and invoice submission, get quotation, manage system maintenance with vendors and additional task upon request by the manager. Maintain relevant trackers as required from time to time as requested by manager.

**ii. Management**
- Enforce security and EHS procedures within DBS KL as assigned are according to British American Tobacco Policies and Best Practice and adequately protect company personnel, assets, business operations and activities and intellectual property and information.
- Assist Business Security Manager in providing the input and advice necessary for the development, review and updating of the security element of contingency plans throughout DBS KL
- Participate in the activities DBS KL in EHS steering committee and support the co-ordination of the activities of the EHS committees.
- Be properly informed of all applicable national or international laws, regulations and codes of practice on EHS issues affecting the company.
- Assist Investigation and Risk manager with the management and coordination for vendor management.
- Set a good personal example by demonstrating initiative and innovation where appropriate to support ‘working smarter’ and more efficiently.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- STPM or Diploma Holder or equivalent.
- Working experience of 3 years and above with similar job responsibilities as above.
- Flexible in attending to business needs in office whenever needed.
- Ability to organise, prioritise workload and demonstrate adaptability.
- First class organisational and administrative ability with an eye for detail.
- Excellent computer literacy including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - both verbal and written.
- Decision making skills.
- Sensitivity to diverse cultures and a team player.
- Sufficient appreciation of the business to recognize and understand priorities.
- Excellent time management and decision making skills.
- Ability to complete tasks within datelines without compromising quality.
- Disciplined.
- Keen to learn and prioritizes on self
