- In our Product Family Cloud-Native Computing you will take over the role as Regional Service Delivery Manager for the region APAC and will be part of the Cloud-Native Delivery & Vendor Mngt team.
In the Cloud-Native Computing Product Family, we will enable the DevOps teams in Global Digitalization Services as well as in internal business to order and fulfill their infrastructure demands via a Service Catalog. You will work in a self-organized team with focus on Service Delivery provided by BASF global main providers.

**Responsibilities and Key Outcomes**:

- Act as a Global / Regional representative of BASF Digital community, supporting BASF Digital roadmap, helping Global Digital Services to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way
- Lead and manage the vendor to provide the right solution to the customer. This also includes the critical check of cost estimations that are provided by the vendor
- Actively supports the design and planning of future services and the optimization of existing processes in collaboration with the Solution Architects based on various information
- Participation in customer projects and consultation
- Active innovation management driver
- Monitor the deployment process by considering the agreed SLA's, OLA's and KPI's (for example, provision within agreed delivery times). This is done in close cooperation with the internal specialist units. Ensure documentation and quality assurance of our service fulfillment
- Communicate extensively with the contractors being assigned to request fulfilment. Coordinate their activities regarding timely provisioning, contract and budget. Always check for coaching needs and if identified provide it. Check and approve the contractors quoting. Know exactly the required effort (man-days) for provided solutions

**Job Requirements**:
**Education and work experience**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business informatics or in a comparable field
- Minimum 10 years related working experience

**Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)**:

- Strong Digital mindset to accelerate BASF Digitalization transformation journey
- Very good knowledge of business management and service calculation
- Good knowledge in infrastructure service portfolio
- Highly developed knowledge in data center and cloud environments and very good analytical skills
- Highly developed ability in project management and technology consulting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in an international team combined with a very high level of customer orientation
- Very good spoken and written English proficiency

**Technical & Professional Knowledge (additional plus/nice to have skills)**:

- Ability to build relationships and to collaborate with remote teams
- Experienced Agile way of working or agile implementation approach and tools
- Familiarity with Digital technology - e.g.: RPA / automation, Power Platform, Machine leaning / artificial intelligence, etc
- Good knowledge of project management methods (analogous to PM2)
- Additional qualification is desirable, e.g. Microsoft, ITIL, network certifications, operational vendor management
