Health Equity Initiatives (HEI) is a Malaysian-based organization that advances the right to health for marginalized communities. To this end, HEI implements an integrated mental health program that adopts a community-based, participatory, and multi-disciplinary approach. The program includes the provision of mental health prevention and promotion, treatment, and rehabilitation services. HEI is currently recruiting a full-time Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.

**The roles and responsibilities include**:

- Support in the coordination and completion of necessary reporting requirements by the organization or donors on HEI program activities
- Analyze and prepare thematic reports on issues for HEI’s advocacy
- Prepare an annual report of HEI’s activities
- Support the liaison and work with HEI’s external consultants in developing the Information Management System
- Support in the development of necessary policies, guidelines, and processes in the execution of the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) portfolio
- Feedback on the effectiveness of policies, guidelines, and processes in the execution of M&E portfolio
- Update HEI website to maintain HEI’s visibility
- Support the community outreach sessions where required

**Qualifications and Criteria**
- Degree or Masters in Social Sciences or Economics, preferably with 2 years of working experience in a similar capacity
- Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Report writing skills will be an added advantage
- Passion for community work, professional and ability to work in a team
- Possess a passion to serve the marginalized community

Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.

**Salary**: RM2,700.00 - RM3,200.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
