**Position Summary**:
Electrical vital role in ensuring that electrical systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operational according to design specifications and safety standards.
Key responsibilities includes and not limited to performs routine vessels maintenance, installation and integration of various types of process control instrumentation equipment such as transmitters, controllers, integrators, recorders, square root extractors, switch boards, and final drive elements.
Review project specifications, design documents, regulatory requirements and develop commissioning plans and schedules ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems, ultimately contributing to the successful operation of marine assets.
**Responsibilities**:
**Routine Maintenance**:
Conduct regular inspections on electrical installations for compliance with codes and standards. Ensure proper installation of wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
**Installation Verification**:
Install and integrate various process control instrumentation, including:
- Inspect electrical installations for compliance with codes and standards.
- Ensure proper installation of wiring, circuits, and electrical components.
**Troubleshooting**:
- Identify and resolve issues during testing or operation.
- Work closely with installation teams to make necessary adjustments.
**Testing and Validation**:
- Conduct functional tests on electrical systems, including circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels.
- Perform performance tests to ensure systems operate within specified parameters.
- Assist to coordinate building and outfitting activities at the Shipyard including trouble shooting onboard all vessels under repair or in operations belonging to company group.
**Documentation**:
- Compile detailed commissioning reports that include test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
- Update as-built documentation to reflect any changes made during commissioning.
**Training**:
- Provide training to facility personnel on system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure operators understand safety protocols and emergency procedures.
**Post-Commissioning Support**:
- Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure ongoing system performance.
- Gather feedback from operators for continuous improvement.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Careful review of installations and testing procedures to ensure accuracy.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of safety practices and regulations related to electrical systems.
- **Basic Training**:Attended training in accordance with the Merchant Shipping (Training and Certification) Rules 1999 and Regulation V1/1 of the International Convention on Standard of Training
- **Communication**: Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and training personnel.

- Read and understand memos, blueprints, and technical documents for new job sites.
- Translate Service Manual from Chinese to English

- Work with electrical products, components, and systems requiring steady hands and excellent vision.

- Collect and analyze data to diagnose electrical problems and determine effective solutions.
- **Standards Compliance**:
- Adhere to recognized standards for all installations and repairs to ensure safety and quality.
- **Supervision**:
- Manage and train apprentices and junior electricians in the workplace.
**Essential Skills**:
- Strong reading comprehension for technical documents.
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting.
- Leadership and communication abilities.
- Speaks and Written Chinese and English
- At least 5 years experience in similar capacity

- Have basic safety training
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
