1. Review and monitor the operation processes of the logistics to find continuous improvements on procedures, methods, effectiveness and resource utilization.

2. Ensure compliance of ISO requirements as well as applicable safety and health regulations to meet stringent quality expectation by customers.

3. Responsible for the daily operation and management of import and export logistics, bringing in logistics suppliers, customs management, inland transportation management, and overseas logistics process management.

4. Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics.

5. Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues.

6. Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers, carriers and customers.

7. Oversee shipment loading and unloading for container shipments to ensure that goods are transported safely and efficiently.

8. Ensure accurate documentation for shipments including custom compliance. Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly.

9. Coordinate and arrange import/export shipments with freight forwarders, sales, warehouse, and production to ensure smooth and timely delivery of shipments.

10. Establish and exceed service and operational goals for the logistics team (efficiency, productivity, timeliness, professionalism, creativity, etc.).

11. Address and resolve shipping/transport-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies

12. Compare shipping/transport quotations and costs to ensure cost effective shipping/transport solutions.

13. Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.

Pay: From RM2,100.00 per month
