General Functions

To conduct testing for the raw material, in process and finish product accordingly Quality Control Schedule or when required.
To update and maintain all analysis data in system and communicate to operation in timely manner.
Taking incoming raw material and finished product as per Sampling Schedule.
To check bale quality visually every 2 hours in finishing section.
Responsible for QC Lab waste handling
To maintain labelling system for samples received
Assist QC Supervisor performing rubber compounding and tensile testing where necessary
To maintain high standard of housekeeping for the QC Lab.
To maintain the cleanness and arrangement of the sample preserve room, glassware room and carbon/white compounding room.
To perform any additional task required by superior.

Quality Assurance Functions

Aware of Company Policy and work toward overall objective that product delivered at the right quality, on time, every time.
Involved in maintaining QC documentation as per ISO 9001 requirements.
To carry out any other tasks as and when instructed by the superiors.

Requirement

Minimum 1 - 2 years preferably in Petrochemical / Chemical industry experience
Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Familiar with Laboratory and safety procedures
Self-motivated, result oriented and a fast learner
Good interpersonal skills with a positive work attitude
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Lotte Ube Synthetic Rubber Sdn. Bhd. is a new petrochemical company in Pasir Gudang (Tanjung Langsat Industrial Estate). We just started our commercial operation as the 1st manufacturer of Synthetic Rubber (butadiene rubber) in Malaysia.

The Company is a joint venture among the established multi-national corporations (i.e. Lotte Chemical Corporation of South Korea, and Ube Industries Ltd.Japan). The new plant in Pasir Gudang will have the capacity to produce 50,000 tons of Synthetic Rubber annually.

Lotte Chemical Corporation with two butadiene plants in South Korea (Daesan and Yeosu) and Lotte Chemical Titan in Malaysia, is having an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes annually. Whilst Ube Industries Ltd maintain a global production of synthetic rubber via its existing plants in Japan, China and Thailand with overall annual capacity of 436,000 tonnes.
