**Hygiene Technician (1&2) **Registered with DOSH**

**Job Summary**

**The Hygiene Technician will inspect worksites and work practices for safety and health hazards. Monitors, assesses, recommends precautions and corrective actions that should be taken in response to identified hazards as per OSH Act 514.**
- ** Competent and registered person for Chemical Exposure Monitoring (Hygiene Technician 1) as per requirement OSH (Use and Standards of Exposure of Chemical Hazardous to Health) Regulation 2000 to perform Personnel Chemical Exposure Monitoring.**
- ** Conduct sampling and on-site work for Chemical Exposure Monitoring as per DOSH and client requirement.**
- ** Furnish report and documentation for the completion of Chemical Exposure Monitoring work.**
- ** Assist employer or any person in charge of place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health of persons employed specifically for Industrial Hygiene purposes.**
- ** Assist Safety and Health Committee in any workplace inspection for the purpose of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with Act and any regulation specifically for Industrial Hygiene purposes.**
- ** Assist Safety and Health Committee members in organizing and implementing safety and health programme at workplace, safety promotion campaign and others.**
- ** Carry out any other instruction made by employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to Industrial Hygiene.**
- ** Adherence to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities in executing, fulfilling and ensuring at all times the compliance of the QMS requirements.**
- ** Adherence to Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the OHSE requirements.**
- ** Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management**

**Qualifications**
- ** Graduate level of studies in management or related field from recognized university**
- ** Minimum 5 years of experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) specifically in Industrial Hygiene.**
