**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
The Marketing Manager will work alongside the close knit team of the Sales Department, Specification Specialist, Sales Administration Coordinator and Customer Service under the Marketing & Product Director currently but possibly VP Marketing in the future. The Marketing Manager will be in charge, and hands on, in all marketing activities for the organization, including but not limited to creating and executing the fiscal marketing plan & budget, overseeing all branding and go-to-market strategies for products, sampling, event planning, presentations, public relations, advertising & social media.

**TASKS**:
Development & Implementing Strategies:

- Participate and contribute in the development of the sales strategy with President, future VP Marketing, Marketing & Product Director, Specification Specialist and the Sales Team and then implement marketing strategies and marketing products in conjunction with that strategy.
- Develop yearly marketing plan including the needs from the Specification Specialist and Sales Team in their respective territories, corporate objectives and product direction and launches.

Budget Management:

- Develop, implement and follow the marketing budget on a yearly basis taking into consideration the needs of the sales strategy and the marketing plan as well as providing a quarterly (or as needed) marketing expenses vs budget updates.

Event Management:

- Oversee and coordinate all Olon exhibiting and attending tradeshows/conferences, customer events, sales meetings and other internal Sales & Marketing meeting/events. Maintain the tradeshow/events list current and distributed through the Sales & Marketing team.
- Coordinate with the Sales Team on regional events and needs and provide recommendations for new or additional key events.
- Design and purchase of new tradeshow booths or accessories and coordination with shipping department and tradeshow company being used.
- Respect the marketing budget numbers put in place for these events.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

- Assist Territory Managers with strategic initiatives and projects. Specialized sampling needs that can't be ordered through customer service.
- Customer visits, customer training and presentations on products, marketing services and programs.
- Create / update presentations for the Sales Team.

Brand Management, Content and Digital Marketing:

- Create, coordinate and manage all marketing materials and sampling necessary to support the sales strategy and marketing plan including partnering with internal production, outside vendors, Specification Specialist, Sales Team where necessary.
- Manage the inventory of promotional items and managing all activities pertaining to the sample room, Shopify or future sampling systems put in place.
- Create and execute an advertising and social media plan, create all ads and visuals, videos required to support that plan. Public relations, press releases, E-blasts and interviews.
- Maintain the database of contacts.
- Oversee all website changes, updates, facelifts, etc.
- Responsible for creative writing, design and development of brand and product stories for new product launches.

Market Research, Reporting & Analysis
- Collect market research and market intelligence as needed
- Coordinating customer surveys with Customer Service Manager and sales team as needed.
- Develop KPIs and continuous improvement, efficiency and cost savings within the department.
- Reporting as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 5 - 7 years of marketing experience within the North American market, preferably with Marketing Manager experience
- Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing or equivalent
- Experience in B2B marketing
- Experience with industrial distribution, large OEMS and large retail
- Professional manner, excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
- Excellent English verbal and written skills with French as a second language
- Team Player, motivated and works well independently
- Collaborative approach to work, willingness to learn, to problem solve and to drive change
- Knows the business and stays current with industry trends to elevate expertise
- Demonstrates strong organizational and planning abilities
- Strong computer skills with above intermediate skill set for Microsoft Office Suite - all programs
- Some Graphic Design or Photoshop knowledge is an asset
- Flexible availability to meet customer and project needs is essential
