**Junior Sous Chef - Chinese Cuisine**

**Job requirement**:
1. At least 2 years of experience in preparing Chinese Cuisine

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure at all times, assumes a pleasing and helpful attitude towards his superiors and fellow employees.
- Always well groomed, takes care of his personal cleanliness, and is neatly dressed in a prescribed chef uniform.
- Ensure his working station is clean at all times and maintain high standard for sanitation in the preparation area.
- Responsible for preparing Local and Promotional food to various outlets as required in the event order or the restaurant menu.
- To ensure safe working conditions at all times, notify to maintenance department if they are any defects.
- Responsible for purchases, receiving, and production of the Chinese section.
- Ensure no wastage, no overproduction and always maintain good cost control of the kitchen.
- Ensure that, the chef must be completely familiar, he may be relocated either temporarily or permanently in the course of service to help in another station.
- To ensure that kitchen staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
- To monitor and ensure food standards in the production kitchen are always consistent, and creative and achieve minimum standards.
- To assist in developing product specifications for all menus and all Chinese Cuisine.
- To encourage all cooks to be innovative and creative.
- To ensure that product consistency in quality of appearance and taste.
- To maintain a high-quality operation in service.
- To ensure the accurate maintenance of food recipe data.
- To continuously test, along with Executive Chef / Sous Chef new products in the market.
- To share with the Executive Chef / Sous Chef the responsibility to revenue and profits.

Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sepang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Chinese Cuisine: 2 years (preferred)
