Job Responsibilities (Project Manager):
As the **Project Manager**, you will be responsible for **end-to-end project leadership**, from initial planning through to execution and project close-out.

1. **Project Planning & Coordination**
- Develop overall project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with clients and consultants
- Prepare and review method statements, work programs, and construction schedules
- Coordinate with in-house teams, subcontractors, consultants, and local authorities

2. **Site & Construction Management**
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Manage site activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, project plans, and contract requirements
- Lead weekly site meetings with stakeholders and resolve technical or operational issues
- Ensure timely mobilization of materials, machinery, and manpower

3. **Cost & Contract Management**
- Monitor project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
- Review and certify subcontractor claims, PO, BQ (variation orders), and progress payments
- Ensure proper documentation and contract compliance, including EOT (extension of time) claims and project reporting
- Support the procurement process and liaise with suppliers for timely material delivery

4. **Compliance & Documentation**
- Ensure all work complies with local authorities, environmental regulations, and safety standards (CIDB, NIOSH, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of project correspondence, minutes, and technical documentation
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, risk assessments, and project updates to management and clients
- Support internal audits and project handover documentation

5. **Leadership & People Management**
- Supervise project teams, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Motivate and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork
- Conduct performance reviews for team members involved in project delivery
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between cross-functional teams

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in managing infrastructure, geotechnical, or civil engineering projects
- Excellent technical knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, and contract administration
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project costing software
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English (written & spoken)
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites as required
- PMP, CIDB, or related certification is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,032.41 - RM10,910.26 per month
